The Cynosure PicoSure laser workstation has received FDA clearance for the removal of tattoos and benign pigmented lesions. In a study by Roy Geronemus, MD, director of the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York, PicoSure treatments over a two-week period led to a more than 80% overall tattoo clearance, with 94% clearance for difficult-to-remove blue and green inks.
