SENTÉ has announced the appointment of Virginia L. Vega, PhD, as vice president of research & development and physician education.
Vega brings more than 20 years in molecular and cellular biology, and physiology research experience in both academia and the skincare industry to the position. Most recently, she held a position as research investigator and director of skin biology laboratories and scientific communications for SkinMedica, an Allergan company, where she led all aspects of product conceptualization and development as well as external collaborations with skin care and antiaging experts. Prior to SkinMedica, Vega was an assistant adjunct professor at the University of California San Diego Medical School.
