PCA Skin has announced Pro-Max Age Renewal, an anti-aging serum that has been clinically tested to lift and firm the appearance of skin, smooth visible lines and coarse wrinkles and deliver visibly fuller skin, per the company.
Utilizing the brand's Micro Growth Factor Technology (MGF), which consists of four signal tripeptides, this formulation supports keratinocyte production, aids in fibroblast proliferation and is designed to help enhance collagen production and diminish advanced signs of aging.

In addition to MGF, key ingredients include organic kangaroo paw flower extract, an organic material that reduces wrinkle appearance, as well as skin-firming biopolymers, a biopolymer matrix embedded with micro-algae that provides skin firming.
In an experiment conducted by PCA Skin's parent company, CP Skin Health Group with NASA aboard the International Space Station, they investigated the effects of microgravity on skin physiology and found that space travel resulted in higher levels of the MMP1 protein in the skin tissue model, which causes collagen to decrease.
Cady Coleman, Ph.D., retired NASA Astronaut, STEM advocate and Colgate advisor, commented: "The experiment studied the difference in skin health and aging between Earth and the weightless environment of space called microgravity. Through these studies on the International Space Station, researchers found that the lack of gravity had a negative impact on the skin's overall health and also stimulated the rate of skin aging."
