Specialty pharmaceutical company Oculus Innovative Sciences has launched IntraDerm Pharmaceuticals, a new dermatology division that will develop and market advanced professional dermatological products in the U.S. and internationally. IntraDerm Pharmaceuticals is located in Petaluma, California, and employs a seasoned management and sales team who are well versed in the dermatology prescription markets in both the U.S. and Europe.
Products available to healthcare professionals in the U.S. include Alevicyn Antipruritic Gel to manage the pain, burning and itching associated with various dermatoses; and Alevicyn Dermal Spray for use in the debridement of wounds such as stage I-IV pressure ulcers, postsurgical wounds, first- and second-degree burns, and grafted and donor sites. IntraDerm Pharmaceuticals’ available EU products include a scar management gel, an antiseptic solution, a treatment gel for mild to moderate acne and an atopic dermatitis hydrogel.
