The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) awarded Miami hair transplant surgeon Bernard Nusbaum, MD, the prestigious 2015 Golden Follicle Award. The Golden Follicle Award recognizes select surgeons who have made an outstanding and significant clinical contribution to the field of hair restoration surgery.
Dr. Nusbaum has performed over 10,000 individual hair transplant procedures over the last 20 years. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, Past President of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, performs ongoing research and contributes to clinical publications.
Dr. Nusbaum currently works alongside 2008 Golden Follicle Award winner Paul Rose, MD, at the Hair Transplant Institute of Miami—one of the first clinics to offer ARTAS (Restoration Robotics). Most recently, they developed the Mosaic Hair Restoration procedure to provide a more natural outcome that better mimics the patients’ natural hair.
