This Is My Brave is a charity that encourages storytelling, to help those struggling with mental health issues such as anxiety and low self-esteem, that are associated with physical appearance.
Mederma is making a $25,000 donation to This Is My Brave to help the charity further its mission to empower individuals to share their stories and support those that are healing.
During the month of May, Mederma encouraged people on Instagram to share their personal scar stories and journeys by tagging @medermaofficial and using the hashtag #YouAreMoreThanYourScar to help normalize and encourage acceptance of scars.
