StarFormer from Fotona is a magnetic body sculpting device that uses magnetic pulse energy to stimulate muscle contraction. The high intensity Tesla magnetic stimulation (HITS ) selectively targets muscle tissue and the magnetic pulses penetrate into the muscle layers to cause them to contract, providing muscle strengthening, toning and firming benefits to weakened areas (TightWave treatment). StarFormer can also be used to treat urinary incontinence by targeting and strengthening the pelvic floor muscles (IntimaWave treatment). One treatment session lasts roughly 20 to 30 minutes with patients able to resume daily activities immediately after.
