Crescita Therapeutics, a commercial dermatology company with a portfolio of non-prescription skincare products and prescription drug products, has announced the appointment of two former members of the Valeant leadership team to its ranks. Serge Verreault, current president of Crescita, is now president and CEO of the company. Verreault worked at Valeant Canada for fourteen years in a variety of positions, including executive director of business development and general manager of Laboratoire Dr Renaud, which was acquired by Crescita in 2016.
Isabelle Villeneuve, former senior director of R&D and head of the International Center of Excellence in Skincare at Valeant Pharmaceuticals, will join Crescita as vice president of strategy, quality and innovation on May 1. Villeneuve also worked for Laboratoire Dr. Renaud from 1995 to 2016.
“We are delighted to welcome Isabelle as part of our leadership team at such a pivotal time in the company’s history,” said Verreault. “Her passion and strong dual expertise in science and product innovation will help strengthen our non-prescription skincare brands and will greatly contribute in making Crescita a North American dermo-cosmetic leader.”
