Using the Nutrigenomix state-of-the-art genetic testing, Hayag will now be able to provide DNA testing to create a precision integrated skin care regimen for her patients that is uniquely tailored to their skin.

"The most powerful tool for predicting and protecting your skin health is your own DNA," said Hayag. Using a saliva test, patient DNA can be analyzed for key genetic markers to identify genes that impact how well their skin is able to defend itself against aging in addition to how they metabolize different kinds of nutrients to support skin health. Once those results are analyzed, Hayag is then able to review them and compose a skin care treatment plan tailored to the patient’s genetic profile.
The genetic profile also addresses weight and fitness goals, identifying possible recommendations regarding cardiometabolic health, food intolerances, fitness performance, risk of injury, weight management, and body composition. The results are then compiled into an easy-to-understand report that the patient can take home to use as a reference for future steps to take regarding their aesthetic goals.
