As part of its partnership with the Children’s Skin Disease Foundation (CSDF) and Camp Wonder, Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream (Galderma) will be showcased exclusively at CVS/pharmacy locations nationwide in a limited-edition product display in celebration of Camp Wonder’s 15th anniversary and honoring the memory of Camp Wonder camper, Samantha Smith. Every year, the medically staffed summer program, founded by Francesca Tenconi, invites nearly 100 children who suffer from severe and fatal skin diseases to experience the joys of being a kid at summer camp. This year Camp Wonder celebrated its 15th anniversary with past campers and counselors, who were invited back for a night of music, dancing, fun and games.
Since 2012, Cetaphil has been a proud supporter of the CSDF and Camp Wonder, providing grants, volunteers and products as part of its ongoing commitment to raising awareness of skin diseases. CVS has placed 11,000 displays in stores and sold 79,000 jars of Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream supporting Camp Wonder since 2013, according to Eileen Howard Boone, senior vice president of Corporate Social Responsibility & Philanthropy for CVS Health.
“As a leader in skin health, Galderma is honored to be a part of such an important and meaningful cause. Over the years, Galderma has donated more than $500,000 to the CSDF and its flagship program, Camp Wonder,” said Miles Harrison, vice president and general manager of Galderma Laboratories. “The incredible impact that Francesca Tenconi and the CSDF have made on so many families is remarkable. We are thrilled to remain a partner and to help celebrate this meaningful year for the organization.”
