Dermatology residents may apply for two upcoming grant opportunities offered by the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD).
The Native American Health Service Resident Rotation Program will give second- and third-year residents the opportunity to provide dermatologic care to Navajo Nation residents during a one- to two-week elective with the Indian Health Service. Four grants will be awarded to U.S. residents.
The Resident International Grant will provide funding for senior dermatology residents to participate in a four- to six-week elective in Botswana, where they will help administer dermatologic HIV care and visit outreach sites. Fifteen grants will be available to U.S. and Canadian residents.
The application deadline for both grants is April 1, 2016. For more information, visit www.aad.org.
