Ooh La La Medical Spa, Anti-Aging & Wellness is celebrating its 15-year anniversary of being in Glen Carbon, Illinois. Owner and founder, Kristen M. Jacobs, M.D., is a nationally known master injector and has celebrated several milestones since starting her aesthetic medicine career and opening the business, including experience at Allergan Medical Institute for Facial Aesthetics and opening the Aesthetic Resource & Training (ART) Academy.
Dr. Jacobs has performed more than 30,000 injectable treatments. She was selected as a faculty member, instructor and consultant with Allergan Medical Institute for Facial Aesthetics and her expertise places her in the top 1% of Allergan accounts in the country, according to Ooh La La Medical Spa.

In 2021, Jacobs published her book “Live Life Beautifully (With a Little Help)." Her book highlights her five-step approach to helping people feel their best at any age and offers before and after photos of patients she has treated. In 2023, she opened the Aesthetic Resource & Training (ART) Academy to provide different levels of training in injectables and help medical professionals grow their knowledge in aesthetic medicine.
“When I opened Ooh La La Spa, Anti-Aging & Wellness, I could not have predicted the number of lives we would touch and the impact in Glen Carbon and beyond,” said Jacobs. “I transitioned from family medicine to aesthetic medicine to inspire others through my passion to educate on healthy aging. Opening our business has allowed us to go past giving our patients the tools to take care of and protect their skin, but to be confident and become the best version of themselves.”
