AIPS Awarded AAAASF Accreditation
The Advanced Institute for Plastic Surgery (AIPS) announced that its new on-site surgical facility in Redlands, California has been awarded accreditation by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF).
The AAAASF ensure the highest quality patient safety and care in office-based and outpatient surgery settings. To earn accreditation, the surgical facility passed a thorough on-site evaluation.
Facility surveyors completed inspection on important criteria concerning patient safety, including the general environment, operating and recovery room environments, policies and procedures, general safety in the facility, medications, medical records, quality assessment and quality improvement, personnel and anesthesia.
