Female entrepreneurs in the beauty industry will get the support they need to grow their business, thanks to a new partnership between Addo Aesthetics and the Liberté Foundation for Women.
The partnership will provide five $10K Freedom in Action grants to support female entrepreneurs in the beauty industry. Funds can be used on business related expenses such as staff development, education, equipment and more.
Grant Recipients
The latest $10K grant recipient is Skincare Maui Owner and single mother, Juvy Cabanilla, used the grant to purchase supplies and equipment and continue her education and training in the industry.
The first recipient of the grant was given to Brow Couture by Angela owner, Angela Moretti, of California. Moretti was awarded the grant to support community outreach of providing volunteer career advice to young women interested in the beauty industry, and to offer free makeup services to women undergoing cancer treatments.

Moretti, who juggles her business with being a mom to three children, hopes to use the grant to attend the Las Vegas Permanent Makeup Convention to network with beauty entrepreneurs and expand her skillset through receiving training from some of the most talented artists in the industry.
Addo Aesthetics CEO, Daniela Woerner, said the grants are about providing financial freedom to spa business owners, to support them to expand and develop as entrepreneurs. Liberté Foundation for Women Founder Andrea Klein welcomed the partnership with Addo Aesthetics and said the grants would support women in creating freedom within their businesses.
“These grants give women access to the money they need, so they are able to start their journey to freedom and continue to grow as business owners,” said Klein. “Often the only missing piece to this freedom is cash, and we know that for many female business owners they already have the skills needed to start the business but lack the funds.”
